I want the "I came to work today" bonus... We have 1 worker that has 2 reasons for free days off... I used to understand the ordeal, but now it's just bull shit... She didn't even call in today... Just didn't show... Second day in a row... No surprise, just pissed.

Added to that right off the bat I get the call that I have 10 minutes to gather things for a trauma... Less than 30 minutes later the computers go down for 4 hours...This is a laboratory- without computers, we can't do hardly anything... Not the way things are set up... Plus the stat blood and then as always the stat accuchecks... Add that to I'm in the middle of a 7 run, hungry, and got puked on, and I'm just in a rotten mood anyway... I absolutely wanted to kill people... Or better yet... Just SHOOT ME NOW!

So afterwards I'm leaving with my partner in crime (there are only 2 of us on duty on this shift) and she's like "That went well..." I kept from laughing and said, "Yeah, and knowing the way the night's gone it's raining..."

I'm a jinx... The rain was like someone opened the heavens and dumped their dirty dish water... So soaking wet and tired I trudge past the open lot by my place, it's still raining... I think "It can't get much worse than this..." When someone wizzes past me and spashes me with a tidal wave... I just stop dead, thinking yep... can't get worse now... Then I hear it... The sprinklers came on and I got blasted from behind with the sprinklers, already muddy soaking wet, and in a downpour... Water sucks...
